We use Curve25519 for key exchange, AES-256 for symmetric encryption, and HMAC-SHA256 for authentication. It's the gold standard. We've even noticed that our encryption overhead is lower than WhatsApp's, meaning your messages send faster on low-bandwidth connections like 2G.

What data DO we store?
To make the app work, we only store:
